Condensation Phase-Change Flue Gas Plume Abatement

Product Overview

Self-developed flue gas plume abatement equipment addresses high-humidity industrial emissions and water conservation needs (e.g., in arid regions). Combines energy savings, water recycling, and emission reduction.

Technical Principle

Flue gas passes through a plate heat exchanger, where it is cooled by an air cooler, causing significant water condensation for intermediate water reuse.

The heated air discharged after heat exchange between the air cooler and flue gas acts as a flue gas reheating medium. This air is ducted to the chimney outlet and mixed with the cooled, dehumidified flue gas. The mixed gas becomes drier and cleaner, with substantially reduced relative humidity, thereby lowering the dew point temperature of the emitted flue gas.

The discharged gas remains below its dew point for a critical period after release, preventing moisture in the flue gas from condensing into water droplets or visible mist—achieving plume abatement.

The entire process operates without external heat sources, effectively recovering waste heat while capturing substantial condensate water.
